Anything *can* be fixed, but what's the cost (in time, resources, scaling cost, etc)?

& who creates, runs, & funds those aggregation/distribution services?

My point is this isn't a problem that can be fixed by the architects of Mastodon. It's going to require a lot of people doing a lot of work in a lot of projects & a lot of money being spent.
