I've personally been involved in enough low level, but already govt related, social bargaining to know activism works. Cutting out corrupt people, making things right, enabling democratic process, removing despotic higher ups and replacing with not perfect ones, but definitely better ones. It's happening in US, it needs to happen a lot more for you guys to succeed.
