Badtux the Snarky Penguin@darnell I have checked into Threads twice. Once I logged in, looked around, and logged out. The second time I logged in, accepted a friend request from a long-time friend, and logged out. Mastodon seems to work better for me, except for the problem that you can't do a news feed on Mastodon about a specific breaking news item because it has no global search function.
