Academics uncritically using technology for “invigilating” tests & exams that is based on “facial analysis” that does not operate if you have melanated skin (a condition that has existed for thousands of years but not considered in “universal technology solutions”).

Analogy: The human equivalent would be a lecturer refusing to mark your paper based on skin melanin level.
