    I described the problems with it here, mainly that it uses the filesystem as a database making it really slow: https://gitlab.com/soapbox-pub/soapbox/-/issues/1132#note_1148468923

    Also, the idea of "packs" being required is fucked up. Emojis are a global namespace... god please just let me throw an emoji on the server without thinking so hard.
