Renalia@HauntedOwlbear I dunno if it counts or if it's one you're already aware of, and also not sure it was this year, but does Wonderland Dizzy for the NES count? It was thought lost entirely as it was intended to come out for the Aladdin Deck Enhancer for the NES but with the deck failing at market, and it having to be an unlicensed title, it got cancelled, and the source code was only just discovered by the Oliver Twins very recently, and you can download the ROM from their own site
