@caekislove You're right, eventually something would fuck up. That's of course inevitable. However, depending on the quality of the "fail-safes," how long that likely will be could be a few days to a few millennia, depending. Modern procedures for storing and moving things like nukes are actually pretty damn good, regardless of which nation we're talking about.

What we're more likely to see, sooner than the procedures themselves failing, are a failure to follow the procedures at all. Consider for a minute that we got rid of whitey from the military, and then consider that incompetent nigger laziness is a force of nature. They'll refuse to do something that makes the nuke crash-safe (or whatever) because she on her break.
