@DEERBLOOD Oh hey, I studied this shit in college. A quick caveat that I’m from Eastern Québec, Canada, this mostly applies to the Northeast and North Midwest of the USA and adjacent provinces.
Basically what will happen is:
- Transition towards more carbs and fats, they’re generally more stable
- Dramatic rise in canned/preserved foods
- There’s going to be a shift from proteins like beef towards things like chicken and fish, simply for logistics reasons
