He put out a paper recently saying in almost Trumpian terms that we have to bring manufacturing back. Obviously it's not to help the average American worker, it's for their own power, but I think they see they've gone too far even for their own sakes. But at this point it doesn't matter, because the money doesn't want that and it's far harder to rebuild America's industrial might than it was to piss it away.
