@MediaActivist ahh, Indymedia…. trying to talk to folks about the fediverse now feels a lot like trying to get folks to publish to Indymedia, back when I was part of a small imc collective. Folks love the idea… but so rarely followed thru.

I think part of our limitation then was that we were great thinkers and communicators, but poor organizers. (Oh, and had no money, but that’s a given lolol)
