RedtheBean@dansup @pixelfed I am new to fedi but was an instagram enjoyer until I realized how sick it made me. I am excited to see pixelfed take off and I think what can be different this time around is we can educate lay people about how to be technologically anticapitalist with FLOSS. if people don't see the "real-world value" of the infrastructure available to them, they aren't gonna know what they're missing. i think the info just needs to be condensed and spread. I'm working on a how to guide thing
