@dicey @hidden @vriska there's two differences. 1) religion is a social construct, i.e. we wear clothes because everyone else wears clothes and being nude would be strange 2) religion is a possible explanation and guideline for life, it's not a warping of reality. if you were born in a dystopic world where you didn't know who invented the TV or how it works, but it still existed, it'd be normal to believe that it was created by the gods, it would be strange to believe it's communicating with you
