Mike McCue@shoq yes I’ve noticed the same lack of engagement on Threads. My Mastodon posts get approx 50x better engagement. I think there are several factors driving this. One biggie is how their For You algorithm works vs how the Mastodon home timeline works. I also think the simple boost mechanism is quite powerful on Mastodon. But most importantly Mastodon just seems to have a stronger sense of community.
