@mischievoustomato @realcaseyrollins there is another book called "High Status" that says some similar stuff in this regard. people see command of self as high status, authoritative, one of the mentioned cases if you want to flag as an important person is to be non-reactive to stimulus (ex. the movie scenes where people walk in an office and the guy makes *them* wait while he finishes tending to the ship in a bottle before taking the meeting)
