@paul @ummjackson I am quite familiar with the "but that's market rate for a CEO" arguments, I think all the nonprofit people here who believe that have blocked me already, LOL. I may be naive and clueless about such things, but when a nonprofit pays exorbitant amounts to their executives (even if that's "market rate for talent")--and relies on free volunteers for everything else-- I feel like our system is very, very broken. I have no objection to "nonprofit CEO being paid decent middle class salary", but when the "nonprofit CEO must be able to afford their mansion/yacht like the rest of the CEOs" it just make me very sad.
