Sure (though maybe you could say slashers); just the "Romero dead" made me think "Oh, no, who else?"

Very cool. I had read only a little about this but it's interesting. (Got hung up on the audio encoding, as optical sound encoding starting back in the 1930s was kind of amazing.)
