You, Orthos, Catholics, slavs, and even Muslims would very much like America to emerge from the chaos as yet another state for their religion rather than try to restore the American identity and then convert it later. But that's MY identity. The identity of MY ancestors, the people who made this land great once. Striking while we are weak makes you yet another enemy to me, an outsider who would erase my culture and replace it with yours. I want to accept you as a brother but not if you're going to put a knife in my back. Protestant faiths may be varied and different but they tolerate each other, they understand that they are simply different traditions and cultures. I would tolerate Orthos and even Catholics but I can see that they would not extend that courtesy to me.
