- Embed this notice@allison its the only distro I've tried that really feels like its not linuxy, which is kind of cool but I'm not sure how I feel about it
cat /etc/nixos/configuration.nix isnt really any easier than pacman -Q and its annoying that I have to write a flake to install anything that isnt packaged, or that the linux filesystem hierarchy isnt used and so ABIs for precompiled binaries may break etc.
reproducible builds would be nice except my language of choice completely ignores the OS for the most part and has its own declarative configuration system
idk, I'm definitely not going back to "just works" distros like popos but idk if I want to stick with nixos, I might put arch on my old desktop when I get around to changing the OS on it
