Clowns to the Left, Jokers@simon @GreenSkyOverMe It's absolutely ridiculous. People follow brand names. Long ago it became a status symbol. You can walk into any convenience store (7-11 for instance) & buy a pretty good tasting large cup of coffee for $2 & sometimes get a free donut, but many folks would rather sit in their cars in line or stand inside places like Starbucks to pay $6. There's a place near me called Dutch Brothers where cars will line up 25 deep, waiting nearly an hour, to pay for a stupid cup of coffee.
