- Embed this noticeI think the real thing that marx hit on was the idea of alienation of labor, and perhaps to use a later Heideggerian term, the way alienating labor can cause a person to become inauthentic. This is real. We've all seen it or even felt it's pull at times.
Nonetheless, I don't know how you get from there to "communism." It's very jewish and non-german.
I think real Germanics, like Kant, Heidegger, and Nietzsche, would say... to paraphrase in a thick California accent, do what you can to maintain authenticity. If you become inauthentic, that's on you. Society as a whole is not to blame. The individual is the nucleus of culture and all things come from within each.
