I am always disappointed by how boring most secret orgs sound. Human sacrifice only seems entertaining. Esoteric rituals are really for signaling to others and therefore have no esoteric value. Even the most sacred culling, that of a priest, is kind of icky and once you have tried to get arterial blood out of an enochian hoodie you are never going to do it again.
