@BowsacNoodle @marine @jbschirtzinger @NEETzsche @jeffcliff I'd say he is but a sidenote in this general struggle.
There is useful stuff he could do, without compromising his values, and this heavily skewed "market" seems to prevent it.
That is not just him. A lot of people could do great things and are held back by hostile work environments, inane requirements dreamt up by managers without object permanence.
The problem here is not Jeffs specific high standard, it's society at large.
I get some whiff of you trying to tell him "look out for yourself holistically", and if that is the case then it is very nice of you.
But i guess some of us would rather die on this hill than get a few months worth of money.
