The u-pipes in them counter some of it but I still do it just to be safe and sometimes I'll boil sausages and then fry them in the same pan and in that case I'll use an electric kettle to boil water and then use the boiling water to rinse out the sausage water before using the pot/pan again. I do like to let them cool naturally sometimes but I try to clean up my messes before eating since I'm not as motivated to clean it after eating a nice meal and relaxing haha.
