@SocialistStan @TechyDad @selzero I mean, by its very nature...conservatives want to "conserve" the current state. Time seems to go by faster the older you get so the longer "right now" actually represents in one's mind. Most retired folks don't want anyone fixing social security because it might screw up their monthly check. they "got there's" and "worked hard" so how dare anyone try to make it easier to get up the proverbial ladder? Even if you don't feel that way, can't you see how others would?
