@jemmesedi Yep. Although Philippine English incorporated Australian and British English as well, overtime (especially now), it is closer to American English.
I still remember when floors were following British English where the “ground floor” is different from the “first floor”.
Although for the past 10 to 20 years, we found a way to merge the British and American ways: we split the “ground floor" into “upper ground” and “lower ground”. I guess it's unique in Philippine English. LOL.
