joesabin@thomasfuchs Honestly, I wouldn't even know how to respond to the mess in the Middle East right now. The situation in Ukraine, and watching so many people's lives being upended with no way for me to have one tiny bit of say that will make a damn bit of difference. It's frustrating. I'm in my late-60s and have watched too many wars for my whole life. None in my lifetime has yielded anything of value.
