@PurpCat @LodedDiaper @mischievoustomato @Tadano @Zettour @lewdthewides @galena @meso That's the cost of being a nearly 50 year old database codebase (read: we reimplement most of the abstractions the operating system provides us bc NIH and we believe we can do better) built with extreme portability in mind (they even internally had a Plan 9 version of it at one point but never released for obvious reasons)
