I still think there is too much worshiping of renewables.

Permaculture and its ability to retain moisture and co2 in soil, car free cities, de-energizing other things like passive building heat/cooling. All these things can be done now, at a local level and in all ways, not just to mitigate global heating, saves time, lives, money and energy.
