Downtown Seattle does kinda have that same tree copy pasted everywhere thing, but they're taller and create lots of shade in the summer. It is kind of a technofeudal Amazon Starbucks zone but if you know where to look and what to look for you can find really cool centers of culture and art poking out of the technocapital gunk. Late summer fire season is a problem with smoke and such, but you get that all over the country at this point, especially the pacific coast in general. I think the boredom comes from expense tbh. It's not that there isn't much to do, it's that it costs an arm and leg to do anything. If you can at least hold your own financially, however, it's a much safer, accepting, and accessible place to be than anywhere else in this trite of a nation. Nature is genuinely gorgeous too. Just be ready for the dark wet of winter. Lots of rain and low daylight.
