There are also "public restrooms" in major city places. If need be, you can always enter a shopping mall with their free and mostly clean restrooms. Or you go to big stores and use their customer toilets for a small fee. Sometimes even a restaurant may allow you to use the bathroom if you ask politely. Anyway, it only emphasizes Walt's major point, that public restrooms are a necessity. And a sign of civility, as I would add.
