ok, let's put it this way, being on "a phone network" and "using a phone network" are two different things - you're on the network if you have stable phone subscription and a phone number, but you can still use phone network without being on it by using a payphone or buying a prepaid single-use sim. Discord is all the same - you can make yourself a profile, use it as your primary mean of communication, share it with friends etc. OR you can make an account "niggerfaggot12345" just to connect to a server to say something to someone.
