Sorry, but you do not get to lecture me on what the "Black experience" on the Fediverse is like, especially considering that I have faced plenty of harassment and hate speech from channers and bigots alike, even to the point of adopting and maintaining my own blocklists. Also, I am a 13 year user
of social media apps like Twitter/X, and I joined Mastodon 3 years ago, so at least I have more than my share of experiences.
