Finally, I find the time to juxtapose Irini's emotional and inspiring German poem with your text.

It is a rather "free" "translation," in fact, it isn't a translation at all. However, you beautifully captured the essence of Irini's hard-felt poem and converted it into a new piece of art, even keeping the metric, one of the hardest parts for me, as I usually focus more on imagery. Kudos.
