@khan @lunarised Apparently it didn't used to be at one point. There was a point where 'he' was considered the default, but it was changed after the feminist moment because it was considered sexist. Or so I was told at least (idk if it was just a boomer schizo theory from my parents or not). Either way, neither is particularly apt and the English language is a bastardized mess in many ways.
