     @khan yes, but doing it is also considered abhorrently rude. If someone referred to me as they; in a singular sense ofcourse, I would wonder why they're being a bit dickish

     @lunarised @khan I used to have he/him in my bio because I don't really like being referred to as they/them, it feels weird. somehow poastoids still told me "you will never be a woman" :marsey57:

     @lunarised I think people maybe rarely do it by accident or on purpose only to avoid having to necessarily recognize or reject somebody's gender if they're trans or something

     I have no issue with people addressing people as they/them, its when people want to be addressed as it.
     
     
     Idk. It doesn't really affect me. Maybe im just coping rn. Hope i didnt cause any upset or anything :/

     @khan @lunarised Apparently it didn't used to be at one point. There was a point where 'he' was considered the default, but it was changed after the feminist moment because it was considered sexist. Or so I was told at least (idk if it was just a boomer schizo theory from my parents or not). Either way, neither is particularly apt and the English language is a bastardized mess in many ways.

     @khan @lunarised I don't mind but it also feels unnatural to me because my parents drilled using 'he' into my head as a kid because they were dogmatic about it like that are with a lot of random things.
