Dude, just go /tg/. Board games, card games, TTRPGs. Either do it with online friends or, if you have them, real life friends. Just do it. It’s like a massive sanity check that you will never get from $CURRENT_YEAR vidya. They’re accessible. They’re simple to learn but get extremely complex and deep in a good way if you spend time with them. If you don’t like the rules, it’s not a hassle to “mod” them – they’re called house rules. There are almost no downsides to traditional games.
