flightofdragons@protecttruth It's partly because progressives -- US! -- are too stubborn to realize the power and importance of words, emotion, and story, and instead keep bleating about issues. Issues aren't inspiring. Myths are. Until we learn to speak in that language and frame things better (like people like George Lakoff and Drew Westen have long recommended), we will be fighting with one arm tied behind our back.
