    Yup.

    There is a distinct lack of organizational and functional discipline among the Left because there are no real functional standards on what constitutes being a Leftist both on cultural AND economic issues.

    From New Deal liberal to SocDem to DemSoc to MLM to anarchosyndicalist to Maoist....anyone can claim or deny the "Leftist" label and attach it to their pet single issue without any sense of intersectionality or connectiveness. Chaos thusly ensues.
