@dcc It's totally possible, but nobody wants to do it right now. FOSS spergs aren't always at fault, but in the case of XMPP and Matrix they absolutely are. Making the software usable to someone without an IT/compsci background is an afterthought after preventing interception of messages and software license Asperger's in these two projects.
