@LaylaAlexandrovna This is kind of unrelated but Its been really frustrating to watch non-canadians misunderstand this situation and think that whatever is found or not found in these excavation sites is the primary evidence we have for the genocide of first nations people in Canada. I agree whatever we're doing with those sites is weird. Like why haven't we excavated all of them?? Couldn't some of the murderers still be alive?

But even if we find nothing in any of them, we have no limit to the evidence of the genocide. This was only one factor.
