St. Nicholas (aka Santa Claus) slapped him out for his heresy on the council floor. Nick was stripped of his bishop robe and jailed temporarily while the council recessed for the day. All the bishops and priests had a dream where they were visited by Jesus who told them to knock it off, and they woke up horrified and went to free him and saw him with either an Angel or The Lord in the cell.
