@parker @elaine @annika The thing I hate about capitalism is the "playing the game" part. "It's not about what you know, it's about who you know!" ...so that's the great meritocracy? Nepotism and favoritism?

I refuse to play the game. I play my own game. It's only by a twist of fate that my game has happened to coincide with "the game" at just the right time for me to be mildly successful right now. But I am inches away from ruin at any time due to the inherent person that I am.
