Danie van der Merwe@dansup @pixelfed I would not like to see instance owners just deciding on behalf of their users. Some users may want to connect with friends and family there, and others not. Each should be able to decide and exercise that choice - a bit like a democracy. If I don't follow any Threads accounts, how do they harm, my feed? What I post is public as we don't have walled pay-gardens, and I'm sure they can access it already if they wish.
