I get taht fucking life sucks for the average young person in this day and age when there is little to hope for and prospects are slim. Everyone looks for hope and some meaning to their existance, but very little people find it in the current social climate. But to say that things were better before or they would be better under X or Y is outright lying. Every age has its woes, young people always struggle with what is expected of them becoming adults and every system has its flaws. Nothing is perfect, we just have to grin and bear it the best we can.
