@thomasfuchs Unfortunately greenhouse gasses aren't the only problem with cars, especially in cities. They produce huge amounts of noise pollution, infrastructure wear, PM2.5, take up lots of space, and are extremely unsafe to people around them. Electric cars will also require massive amounts of lithium and increase road wear issues.

Banning plastic straws doesn't really help anything, but banning cars in cities would make cities more pleasant even ignoring CO2.
