Car ownership causes the absolutely worst urban design problems all of our cities face. They are the greatest cost to public infrastructure and human safety, while shutting out accessibility. Car ownership is a major problem. Pretending that it's primarily an environmental problem, or that EVs solve any problems at all, is all misdirection to keep all big industries strong.
