@CatLord @martianvenator Basically WA implemented a new law that meant you had to get abbo approval for any works, even planting a fucking tree on land over a certain size. A week or two after the abbos started scrambling to block anything they could and in one case demanded 2 million dollarydoos from a council for go ahead on a tree planting ceremony for some riverbank restoration.
There's been a big backlash from farmers and everyone with 2 braincells can see this is just the beginning. They also want to expand it to the rest of the country.
