    The verse in Mark he quoted isn't in the Novum Testamentum Graece. It started to appear in texts around the 5th or 6th century AD, but is absent from all of the older ones. So God didn't say it, and Mark didn't write it.

    The Codices Sinaiticus and Vaticanus also end at Mark 16:8
