@abolisyonista communism is not anarchy. Communism is Gulag for everyone and deficit of everything for everyone, except of a small priviledged nomenclature (state bureauroctats) and government "security services" aka secret police.
You can't convince a lot of people into degrowth. All what possible is to join rare-likeminded group and try to live degrowth-ed life in practice ("be the example of what you offer"). There is no other way.
