@rasmusfleischer Sidetrack: You mention Finland, do you mean because it was under Russian rule or also because it was part of Sweden? Continuing on that tangent, is Skåne another example? After all, it came under Swedish rule after Finland and parts of current Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Germany. (I always enjoy pointing out that Lund was not Sweden’s second university but the fifth, after Uppsala, Åbo, Dorpat, and Greifswald.)
